Noncredit Programs
Doña Ana Community College’s Division of Workforce & Community Engagement (WCE) offers programs focused on improving the economic mobility and well-being of our community members in and around Dona Ana County by providing access to training, credentials, language skills, digital skills, entrepreneurial skills, and, ultimately, improved employment opportunities.The Division is comprised of five integrated units that serve community members in several locations throughout Doña Ana County: Hatch, Las Cruces, Sunland Park, Chaparral, and Anthony. DACC SBDC staff also serve clients in Sierra County.
- The Adult Education Program offers classes to improve English language skills, learn basic reading, math, and language skills, and/or get a high school diploma equivalency. Integrated Training programs are also offered.
- The Small Business Development Center offers specialized, confidential, quality counseling and guidance for business owners, prospective owners, and managers.
- The CDL Programs provide commercial driver's license (CDL) training and skills exams, forklift certification, and logistics training.
- Workforce Training offers short, non-credit training opportunities and professional skill development in career pathway certification programs.
- Community and Career Education provides training in career development and exploration, community interest activities, and lifelong learning.
