Vascular Sonography - Certificate of Completion
Doña Ana Community College 2026-2027 Catalog
This is a limited-entry certificate open to students concurrently enrolled in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program; it is not available as a standalone certificate. Several of the required courses overlap with the main DMS program and satisfy requirements for both simultaneously. Note: Application cycle is open July 1st-September 1st, and requires prior attendance at a program orientation session.
NOTE: All of the courses in this program are offered once per academic year and relate to each other and the clinical internship. Courses may not be taken individually or out of sequence.
NOTE: Students must earn a final grade of C- or better in all required DMS courses/Technical Requirements and achieve a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.0. A grade of C- or better is required in the designated Mathematics courses.
Students must complete all university certificate requirements to total at least 33 credits. Developmental coursework will not count towards the degree requirements and/or elective credits, but may be needed in order to take the necessary Mathematics coursework.
