Students who place out of MATH 120 Intermediate Algebra must take an additional 3 credits of general elective outside the College of Business Administration and Economics.


ACCT recommended for Sophomore year.


ECON should not be taken by beginning freshmen or students without algebra skills.


Recommended electives toward continuing with a Bachelor of Accountancy or Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the College of Business include: BLAW 230 or MKTG 203 or BMGT 210 or BLAW 316 (Las Cruces only) or MKTG 303 (Las Cruces only). Recommended electives must be completed at one of the NMSU 2 or 4 year campuses.
