Learning Outcomes

  1. Students graduating from this program will be prepared to apply for and enter the Counseling and Community Psychology Program at New Mexico State University for the remaining two years of their Baccalaureate program.
  2. Students will have the knowledge and skills in Counseling and Community Psychology to transfer to any four-year institution in New Mexico.
  3. Students who complete the Associate Degree in Counseling and Community Psychology will qualify to begin coursework and working hours toward licensure as a Substance Abuse Associate. The program’s focus on human relations and diversity will allow students to apply these unique skills to other fields.
