New Mexico State University was founded in 1888 as the state’s land-grant university. Through serving the educational needs of New Mexico’s diverse population, NMSU has provided comprehensive programs of education, research, extension education and public service at both its undergraduate and graduate levels. Throughout its history, NMSU has preserved many traditions of its land-grant origin while also adding emphases on the fine arts, humanities, social and natural sciences.
NMSU Global Campus (http://global.nmsu.edu) includes 100% online undergraduate and graduate degrees, doctorates, certificates, and microlearning courses. NMSU Global Campus serves students who need the flexibility of anytime, anywhere learning to pursue their education and career goals. There are 70+ programs and 500+ courses available to prepare students for careers and graduate study.
New Mexico State University at Alamogordo is a community college located in beautiful Alamogordo, New Mexico, with the Lincoln National Forest fifteen miles to our east and White Sands National Monument fifteen miles to our west. The campus is situated “on the hill” above Alamogordo and provides inspiring views of the city and the Tularosa Basin. It offers the perfect venue for creative and motivated learning.
The only community college in the NMSU system to be co-located with the university, DACC broadens the spectrum of educational opportunities in the area by providing career technical programs, in addition to intrasystem transfer programs.
NMSU Grants is a two year community college in northwest New Mexico, west of Albuquerque. Students love the small campus and big opportunities all close to home. Mt. Taylor, which is sacred to the Navajo, Acoma, Laguna, and Zuni people that inhabit the region, stands guard to the northeast and the Zuni Mountains to the southwest. Our students reflect the diversity of our people and the rich heritage of Indian Country.
University Student Records is committed to providing excellent service to all students, alumni, faculty and staff of NMSU. Our office is responsible for the maintenance of all academic records, preparation of the course schedules, curriculum records, degree audits and catalog. The office ensures the efficient use of classroom space, the implementation and enforcement of academic policies/regulations and also serves as a resource for academic procedural matters.
