Indigenous Ways of Knowing - Graduate Minor

The minor in Indigenous Ways of Knowing (IWOK), offered through the Counseling and Educational Psychology (CEP) department, is open to graduate students enrolled in CEP programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Psychology, Counseling Psychology and other related fields such as Marriage and Family Therapy.

The primary impetus underlying the promotion of IWOK as counseling praxis is intended to promote a depth of thought to our current understanding of health and well-being that promotes sustainability in multiple dimensions of one's personal life, as well as to inform their professional practice.
