Plant and Environmental Science - Master of Science

Prerequisite to major graduate work is completion of a curriculum essentially equivalent to that required by the department for the BS degree at New Mexico State University. Qualifications for admission will be reviewed by the departmental graduate faculty.

A minimum of 30 semester credits in courses numbered 450 or above is required, including least 15 credits at the 500-level or above. Specific course requirements are left to the discretion of the student's committee with the following exception:

During their tenure at NMSU, all students will present at least one department seminar (AGRO 590 Graduate Seminar/HORT 590 Graduate Seminar/SOIL 590 Graduate Seminar) covering the student's research.
